Worth changing starter motor?
« on: 30 December 2008, 13:01:04 »

Hi

I've got the inlet manifold etc off the car as part of changing the injector pump (thanks for the all advice on this for the poor warm starting - it was the injector pump as suggested by The Boy and others...).  As I've currently got 'easy' access to the starter motor is it worth changing this now?  There aren't any problems with the starter motor but I seem to recall a thread that suggested it could give problems on my engine (2.5TD).... or am I just wasting money?

Thanks again for the advice

Chris
