To comply with DfT's interpretation of UK law:

  • Lenses must be approved for HID use
  • a washing system must be fitted
  • an automatic levelling system is required

so i would require a set of hid units from a donor omega!

a simple water system and set of washer heads!

does anyone know does the self leveling system in the omega headlight require special hard ware or just a electrical feed from main lights switch??

if your car has suspension levelling, that would suffice...

the leveling system just attaches to the wishbone i believe and operates a small motor with an arm that raises or lowers the aim

What about fitting them as upgrade to main beams on existing HID system?  Only downside delay in firing up?
