« on: 06 January 2009, 17:24:21 »

is the power steering on a 3 litre omega and the autobox linked in any way? ie if the engine or transmission ecu's had an issue with something can they reduce the load on the power steering pump?or are we looking at two seperate issues?.

No connection at all.....not even a speed signal (the autobox has a speed sensor monitoring the output shaft so does not need road speed).
