Happy New Year to all who have been of help. I finally got my Crank Sensor but my Dis Pack got lost. Just picked up one from a shop in Accra.

Well i had it yesterday from the fitters. It seems to run smooth though i feel a little jerking. Though of changing oil, filters and plugs.

Noticed my temp gauge dead. Ac  not cooling as well.

My head lights looks faded is there any cleaning liquid that can make it shine as before.

if the lenses have gone yellowish polish them with a fine compound [t-cut etc] :y

I am in Africa and never heard of T-Cut Glass Polish. I was told about same. Can you advice a store that sells same. Will have someone pick that up for me.
What of scratches on vehicle??? :y

Which size engine do you have?  Not sure about the V6 engines, but the temperature sensor is just below the DIS pack on the 2.0 16v, and given the lack of access there, the wire could have been knocked off as it is only a normal spade terminal.  Not sure how this might affect the A/C - as i don't have A/C on mine!  Possibly a vacuum pipe has been disturbed?

you can use brasso if you know what that is?

T-Cut is not a glass polish, but used for restoring paintwork (it is a mild abrasive).  The headlamp covers get covered in very small scratches which reduces their ability to do their job.  As they are plastic, you can also use very fine wat-and-dry abrasive paper (1000/1500 grit), followed by normal polish.  T-Cut does both jobs in one...I used Brasso (a metal polish) which is similar.

if you used t-cut on the projectors then your lucky as i think it makes plastics go cloudy in appearance

T-cut is a fine abrasive polish - known generically as scratch remover, bloom remover.  Can be used to restore faded paintwork or remove minor scratches.  T-cut is the trade name - others make similar products.

Exactly what we have suggested - find something that is used to restore paintwork when it has gone dull.  In the UK, the brand leader is called "T-Cut".  It's listed as a "Paint Restorer" - it works by being an abrasive cream which actually scrubs the dead paint away.  Ideal for older cars where the paintwork has faded due to sunlight/age.

It works on the plastic headlamp lenses of the Omega by removing a thin layer - the "cloudy" plastic - leaving it much clearer.
