Getting Codes 57 61!! & 93 Any Thoughts??

Got the car from Markey Mark, all very nice but EML light was on...

Was revving high when warm due to (as Mark indeed suspected) the differences between 2.5 and 3.0 throttle body, thats now sorted as 2.5 throttle body is on but EML light still on...its a 3.0 engine in place of what was a 2.5...

Did a paperclip test and got the following codes...

57   Idle Air Control Voltage Low
61   Fuel Tank Ventilation Valve Voltage Low
93   Hall Sensor Voltage Low

So first question, are they likely to be codes hanging about from before the throttle body was swapped and will disappear in time...

And second, if not what do I look at first, IACV?? Not seen the other 2 codes before and no idea where they are...

93 is cam sensor chris
61 not sure
57 check plug on back of icv  :y

Ok very odd...thought to check the plug on the back of the ICV while I was out...was very loose so pushed it firmly in an got rid of one of the codes...but not the one I thought!!! Now down to 57 and 61...seems to run fine and idles smoothly at 600rpm now throttle body changed to 2.5 one...

61 is that carbon canister under drivers wing chris !! try changing cam sensor bud !  :y

Only cam sensor I have has wrong shape connector on...

Didnt know there was a carbon cannister under drivers side wing...how do you get to it?

i have a spare cam sensor here chris to get to cannister you have to remove arch liner  :y

Is it oval mate? I have a scware connector one but wont fit lol

The "ventilation valve voltage low" won't be the cannister itself. It'll be the little valve at the rear of the driver's side cylinder head that connects the breather box to the cannister. Most likely it's disconnected.

Ok bit of an update...had another look and noticed that the jubilee clip holding the pipe to the AICV was missing so put a clip on...

Didnt seem to clear the codes but just went to chinese and voila, no EML light...

Leave Chinese no EML light, half way home on the quite short journey, slight stutter and shortly after EML light on again...will have a quick look when I can find the torch as to what the codes are...

EDIT : Checked the codes and 61 and 57 showing (in that order if it makes a difference?)

Ok this is varying atm...sometimes starts with EML on, sometimes without and comes on after a while...getting slight misfire when revving if perhaps slightly under geared (for example when accelerating at 30 in 5th) but generally smooth and lovely to drive...

Bit of a rattle/knocking from under the car too that sounds like something is loose, not really like suspension, more like exhaust knocking against something but it feels firm...may or may not be related but probably not...

Ok 57 has been eliminated now...one of the little breather pipes running into the brake servo pipe had worked its way loose...put it backon and voila! Plus the misfiring has generally all but gone too although it was only under heavy load generally anyway so not that annoying! lol

Just the 61 code to eliminate now, really no idea where to look for that as far as engine bay connector...anyone got a diagram of it?? Will look at the cannister itself when I get a chance  :y
