do plod cars even have fog lights?
the light illuminates on the switch but nothing lighting up and couldnt see the foglights from outside the car as i was pitch black without a torch so got glared by the lights at the same time lol!

Ours do, but they're connected to the flasher unit for when the blues and twos go on. If there's a switch there you should have them. Though the wiring may have been butchered when bits were removed

Yes they'll have them but the wiring may have been interrupted as most forces have them set to flash :y :y :y

mine work ok too,wiring been cut under the bonnet for the flashers

doh! have the have a "butchers" about behind the console and under the bonnet then... i still have the wiring for the siren/lights switches lol :P quite fancy sorting those out *rolls eyes* unfortunatly would be illegal though

Have the HIDs on mine and tbh the front fogs are about as much use as a fart in a lift.

If you've got em too there's no real advantage in using them imho :y


Now if the fogs were HID too, that'd be a different story

lol i think my hids look a bit low on mine tbh, yeah theres a hid kit for fog lights on the internet from memory on autobulbs.co.uk?
search on google for autobulbs ;)

i think you can as they actually give off less heat than the halogen bulbs.

I got the strobes still left in mine but they took out the flasher box  :'(

lol i need to have an inspection of mine in the daylight...would be nice to make it look like CID plod mobile with the strobes and the flasher box (could pretent to be arresting everybody at meets haha)
or they might have other uses *cough*
