Head gasket on 1999 2.0 ltr.
« on: 12 January 2009, 18:22:13 »

Hi all.
I got a chance to get a omega 1999 2.0ltr auto estate gls with 88.000 on the clock for a couple of hundred pounds.
Got full service history and 10 month mot. Last year a new exhaust has been fitted including cat. Car is nice and would be perfect for my needs. The bad point is the head gasket is gone but have been ashured engine has not been cooked. Still running very nicely.
I do the work myself just like to ask if there is anything else I should look out for on the car and while I do the head.
Thanks for your help guys.

Nothing special to know. Obviously use new head bolts.
