Can you read the fault codes?

Thank's for quick reply. I can start the engine on the two sylinders. The light on the engine lamp goes off when the engine starts. History fault codes are 19 and 92.

Cam sensor fault.....

Interesting...the DIS pack replaced is a new one?

Have the leads been checked for resitance (should be between 2Kohm and 10Kohm)?

How are you testing the spark?

Interesting, the early 2.0 ECU does not appear to check the ignition primaries!

I'm checking the spark. new leads. I've not checked the resistans in the cables, but i've cross swiched them.

Ok.....have you measured the resitance of the coil primary at the ecu connector.....pins 40 to dis pin 3 and pin 38 to dis pin 3....should be a few ohms (4plus)

No, thank's for the tip. I was suspecting a ecu fault, so I tried another. I could not start the car because of the "start security device" (dont kow the english word). But I had sparks on 2&3 with this one as well. The dis unit is new.
