Autobox / Something is missing. See picture.
« on: 21 January 2009, 23:44:54 »

Hi guys.
First of all I have to say that this is a great forum with a lot of good tips and many helpful members.   :y
I just bought a 1997 Omega 2.0 16V and there is some small work to be done on it... Can anyone tell me whats missing next to the CD-player? Is it some buttons or maybe some pice of trim?
Anyone who knows how much oil the autobox on the 2.0L engine takes. I just changed it and I filled just under 5 liters, but it is still not full....?

Many thanks from Norway

on my cd spec omega, the switch to turn the traction control off is there and there are 2 blanking plates where 2 other switches could go.
dont have the gearbox info to hand at the moment, will find out tomorrow if no-one else answers before.
are you checking the level with the engine running?

I dont think the 2l has TC, think the missing bit is a meant to be a small storage box (loose change etc)

Early V6 - Traction control button
98 onwards option of a small screen for carin satnov

All othere have a small storage cubby hole.
