Diesels produce a lot of torque which the AR25 gearbox struggles to cope with. TheBoy (diesel owner) recons the autobox will be buggered by IIRC 130,000 miles :(

is 2 men job ,and very hard to put back if you dont have propo ramps
gearbox is around 50-60 kg

Im sure if you cross Loo-Knees palm with silver he will fit it for you :)

I brought a syringe holds 250ml and has a tube that just fits the gear box hole put tube in new atf suck it up and syring it into box.

I know a member on here got a windscreen washer bottle with a built in motor, filled the washer bottle with gearbox oil and connected the pump up, great idea ;)

It wouldn't take long if you used the headlamp washer pump!  :-?  :y  :y

I got a cheap "killaspray" type device from Aldi / Lidl (7 or 8 quid IIRC).

Remove the metal lance / nozzle and replace with a length of 8mm copper tube bent into a "hook" at the end. Hook it over the filler hole and start filling!

ATF is quite a bit more viscous than water so it doesn't flow desperately fast. I would imagine a washer pump probably "grunts a bit" trying to pump it, but if it does the job...

Ok

I have just tired to get into the box to fill it and there is no bolt on the box but a bolt with no sides and a hole in the middle

Very Strange, took it to a garage and they said it was a sealed unit and could not be done
