Rear demisters
« on: 26 January 2009, 19:04:21 »

Does anyone here have a pic of what the ducting looks like?
I'm retro-fitting to my car and so far have the motors in ok but now I need the ducting.
If not I can make some up as I think the outlet is from the round hole on the motor up to the door pin area. But what is there (if anything) for the inlet which is at the bottom of the door?

the air is sucked in thru the smaller opening on the motor casing, so no ducting for intake,

I have 2 ducts here in the garage that I can dig out to get a pic of, doubtfull you will be able to make something up as the space between door card and door is tight.

Would you consider selling yours?

LFF64 if you have the ducting then the pic I will be taking is of no use to you, im only taking a pic of the actual ducting pipe for Bumbazor, not a pic of it installed. Not taking my door panel off just for a pic, sorry.

I wrote detailed instructions on fitting this kit a couple of weeks ago, have a search for rear demisters, it should come up.

cheers  :y

Yep I do have 2 of the near side ones, as you can see, very awkward to replicate the ducts.

air is sucked into the opening seen in the middle motor, the hole in the door is there to allow air to get to this, and the gap in the door card is sufficient enough to not block it

thats this thread dude

Cocks. So it is. I picked up the wrong link. Durrr.

Thanks for the pic. I can see the ducts are rather awkward.
Ive just found someone here who is hopefully sending me some, and hopefully will be fitting on Saturday.

did you change the rear door looms to elite looms? as the gls, cd, cdx dont have the connector for the motor. also pull the blank out of the dash where the switch goes to make sure the wiring is behind the switch  :y
