bonnet wont open

HELP????..just spent the past two days doing the heater matrix ,,right pain.. running out of time to get back to the engine bay.. close the bonnet. and now am unable to open in the normal way..cable is ok..pulled it hard but it wont open...any ideas..

as you pull the cable,get someone to lift the bonnet,i have to do that sometimes

Does it click/clunk when pulling lever, if so get someone to sit on the bonnet, pull the lever and then let go, then pull the bonnet up.

Bonnet closed position can be adjusted in the engine bay. Sounds like its set too high, lower the close position a touch.

is the car jacked up?

i couldnt open mine with the car half jacked up on 1 side - lowered it and tried again and it opened
