Throttle body , EGR, ICV cleaning.

got the age old rough idle problems and hesitation.

cleaned throttle body didnt make any difference(possible faulty)
the jubilee clips from the airfilter to the throttlebody wont tighten fully.does it need to be totally airtight?


is there a guide on how to clean ICV and EGR

I know where the EGR is but I dont know where the ICV is!

would appriecate the help fellas :)

Mounted onto the throtle body on a 2.0 I sure the 2.2 is similar ;)

2.2 throttle body contains internally a pot scale for the drive by wire setup. It is this that goes -unfortunately there is no way to clean this in the throttle body - before you change it get it checked with a tech2 reader to ensure this is the problem  - it usually is but worth checking as the throttle body is about £200 from ebay and about £400 from dear Vauxhall!!!!!!!!. You may be able to find someone on the net who refurbishes these iirc
