Has anyone heard of doing this before?
« on: 31 January 2009, 21:44:31 »

Hi All,

I was advised that if i grind my omega 3.0 exhaust ports i would gain more flow.

I have drawn a crude picture to help explain, the red ring is what im advised to grind away on the head and exhaust manifold. I think its where the air injection goes in.

Thanks everyone

Andy

Thanks for your reply Loo-Knee. They guy i was speaking with said that the biggest prob with vauxhall v6's are the exhaust restrictions. The omega in particular has a very restrictive exhaust manifold and grinding the ports and maniflold will improve flow.

I didnt relise you could grind the inlet also!!!  ;D ;D

I believe you can gring some out of the exhaust ports but the inlet is where its more important.
I also believe the exhaust manifold is where the restriction is, so maybe three branch manifolds would be an idea, but expensive ;)
