Need...No lol Got some here if you decide to go for it...

Although if your cambelt/tensioners not been done for a while or you dont know when it was last done its worth doing at the same time as you have to have the belt off anyway...and waterpump as easy access at that point and only £20 or so new  :y

Then no lol Anything else you might want to change is simply out of a while I'm there basis, oil cooler for example as your pretty much there, but nothing needs changing apart from the cams themselves...

Suppose gaskets would be the only other consideration, cam cover gaskets etc...but again only if they need changing...

Timing has to be spot on after  :y

I upgraded my cams when we last did the belt/tensioners mid last year..did the water pump at the same time and found it wise to also replace the cam seal gaskets as wanted to ensure no problems when all went back together.
Have noticed a fair difference in performance especially when you hit 4k it seems to behave like a different car...not a 10 year old armchair.!!!.worth the effort in my opinion.

dont think there's much point puttin the 3.0 cams in the 2.6 martin from a thread i read about the bottom end being possibly slightly worse for torque (it'd be ok if you towed the caravan in sport mode lol)

A punter in latest ABS mag's 2.5 with 3.0 cams was much stronger than a lot of 3.0's on rolling rd 215bhp 225lb ft.
