drivers door wont lock on fob

have just got me a MV6 manual 8-) :)...but got a couple little probs to sort out.....the main major fault is that the drivers door won't lock/unlock on the remote fob(all other doors do)but will lock/unlock on the key in the lock along with all the other doors....is the central locking motor at fault even though it locks with all the doors on the key....
hope that all makes sense :)

Yes mate door locking motor...

With the key it will manually shut, with the fob there is no manual intervention so then requires the locking motor to lock the door...

i would imagine it is the motor as using the key you are operating it manually so it would lock ;)

Its probably a faulty actuator in drivers side door or its come loose from the connection inside door panel you need to remove door panel to get too it and or fit a replacement (often able to buy 2nd hand for a tenner on here on egay
There is links to do job on here heres one for later models but will be similar one for earlier models..

cool thanks....mines a 2000 w reg so is that a later one(facelift)
