Engine up grade

Hi all well in my omega i only have the 2.0 8v.How easy would it be to put another but more powerful engine in and what would i need  :)

Probably cheaper and easier to simply buy a car with a morepowerful engine mate...

Yeah was only asking as i think my engine is on its way out because i i first start it up in the morning it smokes like a trooper but the smoke is white not blue

Could just be the extra cold weather mate...wouldnt be overly concerned at this point if its just on startup  :y

Ok mate nice one,When it had its mot last week it was smokeing like hell at the mot and thought it was going to fail but it passed :y

with the prices of Omegas these days, just buy one that already has the desired engine fitted.

Ngrainqey upgraded his 2.0 to a v6 i believe ask him!

but tunnie is correct a 3.0 / 2.5    CDX / MV6 / Elite from around 1996 - 1999 is worth around £200 - £600! roughly depending on mileage!

98 on miggys are the best to go for as they have Posh Xenon headlights and a few other extra gadgets!

i have a 2.5 bottom end and heads that just wants rebuilding and new oil cooler pipes on it plus new oil cooler and oil filter-have a new timing belt kit to put on it so it'd be pretty much good to stick straight in :y
if i can find it then i have a new oil filter lol!
