Fitting Cruise Control

hey all who may be able to help.  i have just been readin through some of the technical posts,  i was wonderin if it is possible to fot cruise control to my omega.

i have a 2000 w reg 3.0l MV6 estate Manual.

can it be done to add the cruise control function to it.??

ok great stuff.  just an extra feature id like to add to my omega beast.  motorway lazyness.

is there anything special that needs to be done  other than replacing my indicator switch with one with cruise control on it.

Once the stalk fitted mate you will need to plug it in to a Tech 2 to activate it

Wait, hang on :o. If you has a 3.0 and not a 3.2 (no drive by wire) wouldn't you need the actuator? :-?

Ian is confusing your car with a drive by wire 2.6/3.2. You need the actuator under the bonnet, cable and  ...... ????

right, you need a stalk, actuator unit from a v6 (to get the right length cable) and possibly a clutch switch.

No need to go to vauxhall, just plug them in and off you go.  The clutch switch at the top of the clutch pedal (pig to get to) there is usually a multiplug there.  stalk, easy - again find the extra multiplug

the actuator goes below the header tank in the engine bay (you may also have an aux water pump there but you can adapt it onto the auctator housing.  multiplup is on the top of the driver side top strut mount.  connect the bowden cable and off you go

there is a how to on here somewhere

The stalk and Acturtor is the same as for Vectra.
