Even in the manual it says to drive off straight away rather than wait for the car to warm up. Try the paper clip test and post up the codes.http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1189022687

On the V6 you have 2 knock sensors
Check to see if the wires are trapped
if you have had work done recently to cam covers or cam belt.
The wire runs close to the front of the engine. On the right bank check from the EGR down

16 is knock sensor 1 which is the drivers side one....check the wire has not been caught in the aux belt following a (poor) cambelt change

Look at the front of the engine where the aux belt runs.

Below the throttles you will see a plastic tray which has cablse coming out of it.

Near the middle of the tray (slightly left of centre), you will see a single wire that is part of a connetor which is also clipped to the tray.....this is the knock sensor wire in question

Controls ignition advance and retard to prevent knocking (pinking) :y

The "knock sensor" picks up when the engine is starting to "pink", in simple terms the ignition is too far advanced for the load on the engine. The ecu receives a signal from this sensor and retards the ignition to suit.

It is an "active" signal since the ecu is nearly always trying to run the timing as advanced as possible.  :y
