Hi All - left work today and most of the recent snow has almost gone and nice sunny afternoon, drove home no problems and went through quite a few puddles (rain and snow melting) at the side of the road but nothing too deep. Car then sat on the drive for 3 hours until I decided to go for petrol and the inside of all the car windows were saturated with condensation - had the windscreen blower on (the facelift control panel) made no difference, tried opening all the windows and then tried all the settings on the panel to try and clear the windscreen but no joy - still soaking- eventually the bottom 3 or 4 inches of the screen started to clea but in the end I had to wipe the inside of the windscreen as I couldnt get it to clear using the blower.
had a feel of all the carpets and the passenger front footwell is wet/damp, musty smell to the water but I am fairly sure it isn't coolant (to rule out the matrix) checked the header tank and no coolant loss. Now I have given you the background here are my questions lol
1/ could the snow that was laying at the bottom of the windscreen this morning have melted and then somehow soaked the pollen filter (wherever that is, assuming it's in that corner somewhere)
2/ why is my windscreen blower so rubbish! I can hear a fan going behind the dash but hardly any air flow out the vents at the bottom of the screen.
3/ does the aircon auto cut-off if the temp is below a certain temp outside? it was on zero degrees outside.
Hope you can help - I hate a leaky car

Darren
