transponders and remote fobs need programming.

Hope that helps, as it depends what you want spare key for.

Just want a key to have incase i get locked out or lose the only key i have,i'll just go to the dealer and get a new one and keep the one i have as the spare

get a blank with a transponder (shop sell them), then trapse over to Hotel21 who will be cheaper than dealer :y

No rush though i will probably need to wait until the end of the month,my TB cleaned out my account for this month!

I have the carpass card......1st time ive had one tbh :y

If you have no intention of getting the fob part, I'd recommend getting older style key, rather than horseshoe - no chance of transponder falling out ;D

got my fob from an autolocksmith - supplied and programmed to my car for £45. I already had the key part

New key £97.95.............. ;D

Then when the key gets here........£30+Vat to program it....
