My Omega does this, and ive always wondered why. Is it normal (guess it shouldnt be!)? Mine has a flat spot around 4.5k just like the vid above which i've just found!

Mine has its moments... Most of the time its like it is on the video, however somedays its worse  :-/

I'm sure there working, however the EML is on and last time I checked it was something to do with the air valves - However I cant see anything wrong with them. Checked for leaks etc, and pipes are fitted correctly too.

Paperclip it, post the codes, see what people say.

Have you tried blipping the throttle from the engine bay? Should see them move, but need to get the revs up t o same level as on video. From memory i think the one back of plenum is the one to watch. If its the front one on bag pipes its flat below 4.5 k then takes off above that. So reverse of the video. Would be nice if someone else would confirm, dont want to waste your time.

ps these can be activated via tech 2 for a diagnostic test if your ever near one Jamies magic machines.

IIRC front rams for 4.5K and >, back should move > 1K rpm.
