LPG transfer.
« on: 19 February 2009, 21:20:10 »

Hi. I have a 2000(W) 2.5 V6 thats getting a wee bit tired with 204,000 miles on the clock. The cars generally excelent but I would like to change to a newer perhaps 03 model. My question is, is it feasable to transfer the £2000+ multi-point LPG system from one Omega to another and would the fact that the newer ones are 2.6 not 2.5 make a difference.

Cheers

It's perfectly feasible :y :y :y :y

Obviously you'll need new hoses and front to rear LPG pipe but you can use the same inlet manifold etc :y :y :y

Oh... And it'll need setting up correctly :y :y :y

Excellent thanks Lazydocker, looks like I will be sticking with Omegas for a while then. Anyone north of the border or not too far south of it fancy the job?? I'm way to lazy to do it myself ;-)

Cheers
