CENTRAL LOCKING PROBLEM

HI CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ?
my 2003 2.2cd drivers door has locked on dead lock today and wont open. The remote central locking will operate all the other doors as it should, any DIY Hints please thanks

i never use the dead locks i just lock as normal
one of the other members will beable to give you hints on what to do

you would do better posting this help in the help section as you will get a better responce :y
