car juddering

hi all

im new to the site, but i have a prob with my omega.  its an 03 2.2 i have had it 2 months and it has started juddering and chugging when i start it.  it shakes the whole car. :(

I have had the air intakes cleaned and checked the filter it still plays up.  it has no power at all.

Please help with any suggestions.

Have you had the codes read ... is your EML light on .... have you had the plugwells checked for oil  :y

no eml light on at all.  not checked plugs or codes.  how do i get to the plugs as they are hidden under the top.  do i need to remove the top piece?
if so how?

The black ecotec strip sildes back and off and there should be two torx bolts holding the coil pack on .... is this a petrol  :y

not a single light comes on at all. it has no power to even move when it does it.  You have to rev it up hard to clear it out.

Does the engine light or the one with the spanner come on when the ignition is turned on or have the bulbs been removed to hide something .

a spanner light came on about 6 weeks ago.  i pulled over and turned off the engine.  waited a while and turned it back on and it never came on again

I had something similar happened to mine a while back ... im sure they changed the coil pack on it if i remember correctly .... someone with more expertise will be able to give you more ideas to check first though  :y

obviously means missfire..symptoms continue after complete warm up ?

better have your codes read as 2.2 cant be read simply .. :-/

did it again today.  pefectly fine on startupthis morning, went to morrisons and it did on startup again.  two lights came on. eml light and a light which according to the book is to do with the catalytic convertor ::)
