No & No up to you whether the reversing lights work, only thing I can think of plod being interested with reversing lights is if the switch was faulty and the lights were on whilst driving normaly.

If you've got a manual gearbox, why not change the reverse light switch? It costs around a tenner, and an easy job.
Front fogs - either fix them, or for a quick fix, simply cover them with black insulation tape. The tester definately won't say anything then .... !

having been an MOT tester for 5 years can confirm that reverse lights and front fog lights not working will NOT  fail a test  :y :y :y

But could these attract an advisory notice though?

9 out of 10 testers prob would not bother with an advisory so should be nothing of concern :)

My front fogs u/s.  New bulbs from Halford £9.09 for a pair.  Now working.

Reverse lights intermitant.  New switch coming from Vaux-World. about £7.50.

So for less than £20, should all be working soon.

Always understood, if fitted, gotta work.  £20 peace of mind :D
