Have you tried sliding a hooked rod (metal coathanger) between door and window seal to catch the actuating rod and pop the door pin up :question

If you have a carpass, you can order a new key that will fit direct from a dealer.

Do you think it's easy in Omega?
Easiest way is to break small back window and open back door.

If it`s not deadlocked, Yes. And the rear quarter window is a barsteward to fit

Any breakdown service will "break in" causing the least amount of damage. (Hopefully none)

dont break the small quater light window as its the most expensive and most difficult to replace breaking glass is last resort but if must always do drivers door as is easiest and quickest to repair as told to me by several glass people

Done this yesterday 150 miles from home and from the spare key -

Picture this, opened boot with remote, put luggage and jacket in boot, closed boot.  Keys were in jacket.

Car was deadlocked. Called the RAC, RAC chappie says not much chance as Omega difficult to open when deadlocked, but any he forces top of door out a wee bit to try and press remote boot release. Nothing.  Then uses various wires and around 20 mins later got the bottom open, tried a few things there to power up some things. Nothing.  Pull the door release nothing etc etc.

So tried various things, I always deadlock the car and so it made things alot worse.  Phoned a good auto electrian I know who spoke to the RAC chappie who was then quite chuffed when the doors all unlocked, so I can say you do NOT need to break any windows to get in even if you do not have the key and the car IS deadlock, it does not deactivate the alarm, you don't need to open the bonnet and it takes about 2-3 minutes, the alarm sounds until you get your keys, I won't be posting the HOW to though, sorry.

Had the same problem with an Astra estate.RAC man went under the front of the car and plugged some gadget into the reverse connector on the gearbox.This brought the ignition on and was able to open the window.Took about 5 mins.

Yup, doesn't work on the omega though tried that one, the powers cut by relay soon after you remove they key, and it;s in intenal fuse box.

He did mention though, he managed to get into new corsa, x-type jag and a aston martin the day before though in less  than 5 minutes each, omegas are a lot more difficult apparantly, all in the know how though.
