Can anyone recommend a good polish paste?
I have to polish my Omega but not sure which paste to use.
Also has anyone ever used those small color markers for fixing the scratches? Are they any good and useful ?

TBH........... ide settle for Autoglym SRP for an all round Polish, i usually do this then wax afterwards!

Get the meqaurs clay kit from halfords then buy the carnuaba wax polish as well then stand back and look at the shine.

so you just wash the car as normal then go over the whole car rubbing it with the clay block
then give it a wax

Nick my car speak's for it's self really. The clay bar takes all the impurities off the paint work that you can't see and leaves a glass like look on the panels.

 They sell the Meguiars stuff . Which is what i use on mine and that gets people commenting on it

But I'm afraid I've never seen those products in my country.
I can buy here Sonax, Ma Fra, Liquy Molly etc but not those you use.
And about those small colored marker pens? Anyone used them?
They help with the scratches?

Those small colored pens paint stay until the first rain or first wash :-/

However colored sonax  gives good shine (as the final layer) ..but dont last long, few feeks under strong sun or rain..if you see the water drops on the car dont stay as a bubble , instead spread on the surface you need protector polish again..

Also Turtle waxes (I estimate you can find them) are good quality..

For rough surfaces or small swirl marks you can use Farecla G3 (very common between painters) ..

But dont use it directly, instead mix with a softer type (liquid) polish and with a very soft cotton  on the parts..

Try longitudinal movements on parts also..And always polish with a cold and clean surface..

What about the marks you get say after brushing against brambles/bushes - surface scratches - where you do not want to use more than a minimum of T cut - is there a slightly stronger polish for this sort of job - or do you just polish away to dull it and leave it alone - unfortunately at a glance you cannot see it - but when you get close you can?

Could try Farecla G3 G6 G7 or G10 had some great results with G10

I am certainly not car cleaning expert but I have used the 'coloured' polish over the years with some sucess....
