When you say close to matrix, could it be possible that it's in the matrix or maybe around or in the H.B.V to cause this pressure.

Seen mostly near the heater matrix..Lets see other views..

as youve got a warranty i would definately take it back to them, if you start tinkering or anybody else does then that will invalidate the warranty, their goods =their problem :y

If the garage thinks its head gasket and the warranty covers it...make them fix it...matters not if thats the issue or not, you will end up with a free head gasket  :y Chances are its an air lock in the coolant system though

except a free head gasket fitted by a bunch of muppets will probably be more trouble than its worth.

Run it up to temp with the expansion tank cap off if there`s an air lock should clear with gentle "burping" of the top rad hose

agreed.. may end up with more problems like electrical niggles and timing issues :(

much better go for an adviced professional..

a good flushing of coolant system (if there are any blockage ) and professional refill can easily solve..
