Steering
« on: 22 March 2009, 17:39:51 »

I have just finished fitting a new pair of front wishbones, and a new steering idler due to excessive movement.
Having done this, i still find that there is some movement at the steering idler, and after taking the car for a small test drive, I cant say that i'm happy with the feel of the steering.
I was hoping that the steering would have been alot firmer once the work was done but it feels very vague.
Should i wait until the tracking and alignment etc has been checked properly by a specialist, or is there something more that i should have done?
Should i expect some movement at the idler, or should it be solid?  :-/

You will need the front suspension aligned after fitting new wishbones.
