key fob battery?

does anyone know what batterys go in my key fob for the remote locking. when i bought the car there wasnt any in either fob. the fob is for a 94 cdx if that helps

also in the club shop last i looked. Most motor factors have them, including dealers.

does the red led light up on the fob, perhaps it needs setting up, im sure there is a thread on here somewhere :y

PLEASE! :-[

  it shall need re setting ,   put the ignition on the first or second click and try to lock it using the fob , it should lock then unlock straight away

If the lights on the fob work but the doors dont lock/unlock,it needs to be reprogrammed as follows.
Put key in ignition and turn to ON position.
press and hold one of the fob buttons for a few seconds until the doors lock and unlock.
job done. :y

must type faster. :D

   might sound daft , i would try to change the battery over the other way and check that first!   :y

I've just bought some off a certain well-known auction site for 99p plus P+P - for five!  (Of course, they might be cr*p...  ;) )

When you put the batteries in the holder they both go in face down, ie the plain side with the maker's name and battery number goes upwards.

I know exactly what you have done

You have squashed the plastic lug by the + terminal and insulated it.

Take a picture and show us what it is like

i cant put any pics up sos but i can see the connections in the seperate fob. there is a connector on the side wll inside the fob and a small copper contact sticking out to just about were battery centre would be, i take this to be plus and side wall connection to be negative. but still niether fob is working or flaghing etc
