have you had a chance to check the vac system? Esp to the bulk head by the heater pipe, and elbow on top of the hbv?

Hi.

No hot air in car could be number of things ?.

1. have you or anyone being working on the coolant side of things lately, and perhaps got air trapped in the system ?.

2. when the engines at working temp, are both top and bottom radiator hoses hot / warm at all ?.

3. Does you fan work on all speed settings or just 1 or 2 ?.

Take it as you say vent selector isn't working you don't have electronic aircon ?.

4. does car show at normal working temp on gauge ?.
If not, or doesn't every show working temp, you could have perhaps sticking thermostat ?.

Can you describe any other systems, that may help ?.

Don't know if any of the above will help get you started ??. :-?

help me please

Sounds extremely relevant!  It sounds like someone has deliberately bypassed the heater matrix so no water goes into it.  Only one possible reason for that - the heater matrix leaks.   :(  You could try reconnecting it and see what happens, but my money would be on you being ankle-deep in water.

Having only had my own Miggy for a month I can't tell you how easy it is to get the matrix out - it depends on the bloke who designed the car.  (On the Cortina you undid two screws and it was in your hand, on the Sierra you took most of the car apart to get at it.)  Others on here should be able to tell you, or you could ask that nice Mr Haynes!   :)

Although the top pipe has been removed, do you mean that these pipes have been joined :question
