last couple of 2.2 ones I've seen have appeared to be lower quality than the older ones. No idea about the v6 ones...

GM V6 ones are also not as good as the originals.  I put one on about 18 months ago and it is not quiet.  i didn't think it was value for money

The replacement I put on the MV6 was identical to the original one. Sadly that was 5yrs ago, and it will probably need doing again soon

That MV6 was always have a nice sound to it when working hard - a nice roar without being chavvy, that will be difficult to reproduce I suspect

I bought my Elite with a Powerflow stainless system on it and I have to say that the prospect of not having to mess about with my exhaust system ever again gives me a very squidgy feeling inside. It was one of the reasons that I bought mine and it does sound good - it's got that throaty roar when you put your foot down. If you can afford a stainless system, I fully recommend it!

I bought one off Ebay(posted from east germany) for way less than £100 inc delivery as the alternative was a Bosal system for just over 500 euros! or trying to get one from an Opel dealer without TC function.

It works OK and fitted OK. I suspect it was a factory or aftermarket reject as it had had some (serviceable) welded repairs done to it.
