Rear coil springs.
« on: 26 March 2009, 17:17:38 »

Can anyone help me? I need to replace the rear coil springs on my facelift 2000 3.0 elite, can anybody tell me the best place to get them (for a reasonable price). I've seen them on ebay but I just wondered if someone has a bit of 'local knowledge' or recommendations?
All advice gratefully received.

Elite will have self leveling suspension and the explod probably wont.....so there NOT the same.

KYB do springs for the self leveling setup.

KYB shocks springs(!) - part number RJ6227.

http://www.buypartsby.co.uk do them at £32.77 +vat each - I got a quote off them for my 2.6 elite facelift with self levelling suspension a couple of days ago. The KYB online catalogue lists them as suitable, though it took some hunting (and reading another thread!).

Just got back from 2 weeks away and my coil springs have turned up from ZF Trading UK Ltd - these are specific for Omega 3.2 with self levelling suspension (well it says so on the box but not got around to opening it yet). A lot more expensive than the KYB apparently at £58 plus VAT each. Local garage will fit for £78.

If you put that part number into the ZF webcat advanced search it comes back with a rear spring for an Omega A estate.......
