Been out doing my one panel a night again , I have just finished the bonnet , after cutting and polishing for two hours , I have noticed a few  stone chips that were just covered in road "film" before I started. So what would you do ? Use a coloured polish or paint stick to try and rectify the problem. Any advice would be very gratful as always

Ive had quite good results on slight chips / scratches on a bugandy car with colour magic coloured polish

Paint....you need a proper long lasting coating.

Genuine Vx touchup, a very fine brush (or even a cocktail stick) and a dab of thinners to thin the paint down.

Polish will only give a very short term fix and you need to be sealing the metalwork permanently

i would use a touch up stick its permenant . polish is only temp im doing my stone chips and going to use the stick

They often do and are pretty reasonably priced.

Like I say, get some paint thinners (halfords?) as the touch up is often a little thick and use a small brush or cocktail stick (works very well) to apply small amounts to fill the chip (without ideally going over the existing paintwork). You can repeat a few times to build the level upto the surrounding paintwork.

Spot of paint,fine wet and dry after its dry to bring the level the same as existing paint,then cut it in with g3 cutting paste.
