Central Locking
« on: 04 April 2009, 16:29:36 »

Haven't had the time to check wiring diagrams yet, nor have I had the chance to wizz the door card off as yet.  It's my R O/S door, no lock or unlock, can't feel the click through the knob when activating the central locking, seems dead, has anyone experienced any common causes for this, fuses etc...

Ok! and now for the update :o

Got a spare, known, good actuator. Plugged it in!
Nowt  :-/

Took some meter readings, all doing just what they should :y

It was a current problem, not enough current over several strands in an almost broken cable (Black / Yellow), traced it to inside the rubber grommet thingy from B Pillar to door, think it's been going down for sometime, as it's been a bit lethargic over the winter...

Anyway, sorted now ::)
