Hard to start

Needs quite a bit of cranking and also prodding the throttle.

Don't think it is crank sensor.

Could it be plugs?

With the LPG system it should start using petrol and the switch to gas.
If its trying to start on gas alone its going to be a pig.
So is the petrol filter clear and have you checked the fuel pressure?

Worth checking for codes too. I know that crank sensor is not that old, but.... :-/

I have to say mines an LPG conversion and it can be a sh*t to start sometimes especially if it was switched off after running on gas. If i switch back to petrol before i turn it off, it starts easier...
Mine isn't SGI though
And i have no codes except the EGR feedback sensor that crops up every now and then

Three new plugs fitted, old were OK but oily

Started on petrol OK

I also stripped and cleaned the evaporator

Now runs on gas - or at least idles

Will try to get codes read and cleared next week
