g/box fill plug on drivers side on back sump, from empty itll hold 7 litres of dexronIII, & yes when filling it has to be running but get as much as you can in first, then run it & refill :y

oh & to drain it youll have to drop sumps on g/box, might be worthwhile cleaning filter while you are at it :y

Just had mine done yesterday, this is how it went:
1:Get new gaskets,new filter(your choice,I did),7 ltrs of Dexron 3
2:Take off front sump(engine off) put a bowl underneath to catch spill.
3:Take bolts out of large rear sump, apart from 2 front ones, then back of sump will lower as you unloosen 2 front bolts, but dont take them right out just yet, give sump a bit of a shake to spill into bowl beneath, when most is out take 2 front bolts out and its off, giving access to the filter.
4:Clean magnet in bottom of large sump, replace filter and reassemble sumps,we used a pressurised garden sprayer the type with a hose to get the dexron 3 in until it started coming out, then we lowered car and just went back and forth for abought 5 mins then jacked it back up onto axle stands, with the engine running loosened the filler and topped it up again until it started coming out again, then went for a quick run(couple of miles).Back on to the stands and top up again as you did previously. ;D ;D
I got one of the member to do mine as I didn't feel confident enough to do it myself but watched him and learnt,so I will be doing mine myself in future, piece of p*ss :y :y
Good luck its easy or it seemed it watching someone else do it ;) ;)

When filling with the engine running does it need to be in "D" or "N"?
