Found meself a nice tractor 2.5 td manual elite estate!!!!! 128k all thew toys very happy . . . . .  . . . . . .  . . . . . .  . . .  . . .  . . . . . .  . . .. . .  . . .  . . . .  . .  . . . .  . . . .  . . . .  . . . .  . . . .  . . . .  . . . .  . . .  . . . .  . . . .  . . .  . . . .  . . . . . . . . ... . . .  . . .  .... .


Until, asked him who had done the serviceing and if it had any work done recently?.

the answer??
not had any work done since sep 06 and its only done 26k in that time :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(


what the hell will the oil look  like now then??? do you think i dare buy it now????? sheeesh some people just dont have any brains do they??

not a lot really(under a grand) thought i had scored on it as its a 99 to,
nothing wrong with mine and it has done less miles than the one i was after just fancied a change really but now?????

Offer him £500 on the grounds that the oilways will be blocked and it's only worth breaking ... then do a few rapid oil changes .. every 1000 ... and see how it goes ..  :)

As said, but start at £400 ::). Then i reckon you should follow your own recent advice to me - flush and a few quick oil changes  ;). Tell you what though, mine runs loverly now thanks to your ideas. :y :y :y

No not yet mate, saving pennies and trying to set some time/inclanation to sort an AR35 out. Should be canny with an extra 30bhp.... :y

I wouldn't break about, put some of that flush straight in it.  We know these little tinkers can get sludged up, and we know the result...

Go for it, and give it the treatment as already said.

In fact, I've just got back from getting 'markseth' a really tidy T-reg CD saloon tractor. Came with tax and MoT - all I could find is drivers door check-strap and broken NS fog light. Absolutely flew home though running a tad cool, so I'll have it into the workshop next week, and give it a damn good 'going over'.

Needless to say, we're both well chuffed ...... !
