anti freeze

what anti freeze is best used on 2.6 52 plate and how much to use is it ready mixed or mix myself :y

Vauxhall's own Red. About £10 + VAT for 5l, you need to mix yourself, using a 50:50 mix.

LOL. Depends what you're doing. Removing the water pump, about 6 or 7l from memory. Just flushing through rad in a half hearted way, 2l ;D

Get a 5l can (which will make 10l), and go from there :y

I'm sure others will recommend their flushing tips (Assuming water pump is not coming out), but mine is constant flushing with water, until the contents are pure water, then topping up emoptying rad again, then topping up with neat antifreeze.

I know it will be over the top but can it do any harm if you put 100% of the stuff in without mixing it with water?

which is best hose to flush from to catch full system or would you put a flush additive in before draining :y

i was told by the parts man that i didnt have to mix the longlife anti freeze
