uprated fuel pressure regulator

Wouldn't have thought an increase in fuel pressure would make any difference at all without an increase of more air and fuel in to the pots.

Injectors (I think its the injectors) only run to 3.8 Bar so 4.0 bar is pointless...

Yep. No point, unless you run out of flow with the current injectors. An engine is not a bonfire. More fuel does not equal more power.

In reality, fitting one of these will simply cause the ECU to trim fuelling back by reducing injector duration so you'll be back where you started.

to utilise one of these would require £££ bigger injectors for a start and then you need to reprogram the ecu so not worth the hastle

btw you can buy that 4 bar FPR from any Motorquip motorfactors for £22 + vat
