Why would you turn off the ignition while your driving?
Is your battery flat?
Do you have any EML codes?
What car do you have?

 :D Roger Whittaker CD  ;D

As surggested in your other threat. When problem show, try disconnect the headunit.
If that solves the problem, then there's one of the wires that needs to be removed from the ISO-connector.

You mean if you turn the key in the ignition to the start motor position while the engine is already started and running?? The starter motor whizzes round trying to start and already running engine and makes a horrid noise as a result of it grinding??

If the car jump starts but will not start of its own accord...probably either the starter motor or maybe the crank shaft sensor...

Alternator or battery probably. Does it ever start ok without requirig a jump start?

To do: Replace brake discs and pads; adjust already replaced shoes; check for leaks in oil cooler, cambelt area, crank seals, sump, dipstick; replace osf door; replace a tyre; clean, MOT.

Possibly the wiring fom the ignition to the starter motor.
The wires attached to the starter motor solenoid can
cause this problem if they are loose or dirty.

Had this on my Senator B last summer. Cleaned and
renewed wiring connectors to starter solenoid, and had
no more problems...

Seeing as, on another post, this only happened after you fitted the radio....   ....so to state the obvious, but have you tried removing said radio?
