variable wiper arm
« on: 08 May 2009, 10:02:39 »

Good morning,  i've just bought a variable iper arm from Marky Mark and he's also supplied a relay.  Firstly where are the relays for the wipers and secondly is it a straight swap.

Forgot to ask the wiper arm has another lead with a square plug on and it doesn't appear to fit a plug that i have.  Do i need to plug that in?

Hi, does your plug have only three pins - where the variable one has five (If memory serv's) - I have cd model and its the same the 5 pin ones are on the elites. But not to worry there is a post about getting round this you have to swap over the three pin connector to fit and then join in the two remaining wires. I'll have a look for the post and send you the link - unless someone beats me too it. Regards

Excellent work, yes mine has the 3 pin and the one i've bought has 5.  I've looked for the fuse/relay and can't seem to find where that goes either.

As for the relay - I'll check and locate the  correct position. Regards.
