You either need

A) a 27mm socket
B) a 12mm male alan key bit

I had the same question recently.

Almost certainly 12mm Allen as James has said.

I found one at Halfords.  It was attachment for a socket set wrench, only a few quid and made the job easy - cos mine was on very tight!!! :y
