My car has developed that annoying creak from the back, what was the fix on TIS?

I know my Chavalier used to get it, went away when I changed the rear shocks. Turned out the rubber bush at the bottom was turning causing a low down creaky kind of noise.

shocks and springs ok?  the spring can break at the top/bottom such that its visually not obvious.

New springs fitted... That's when the noise started! I think it's the spring rubbing on the rubber cups :-/ :-/

I have this creaking type noise aswell on occassion especially when dry , improves when wet. Sprayed last saturday all rubber bushes at the back with Silicone spray (available at B&Q)and it appears the noise  has gone or is very much reduced...hope this is of some help

According to TIS you have to remove the rear seat cushion

"Bend the sheet metal of lower floor pan in the area of crossmember (receiver for rear seat) with suitable tool (through the first opening in crossmember) downwards (beat out)"

Picture isn't very clear unfortunately :(

That was what I was thinking of - well that is where the creak comes from
