wipers in upright
« on: 15 May 2009, 12:38:45 »

hi,
Ok just getting my omega sorted out
Its been otr for a while.
anyway went to test everything and done the wipers
however instead of going back to normal prosition they went to an upright prosition.
Just so you dont misunderstand this isnt me turning the ignition off, this is me turning the wipers to off
any help or advice on how to fix this would be great

Not uncommon Omegas. If you remove the wiper assembly you'll find an arm fastened to the motor that converts the rotary motion of the motor to a back & forward motion. the nut that holds this arm has come loose & the arm has slipped. You need to move the arm back to within to arrow marks >  < on the bracket the motor sits on. It's quite obvious once you have the assembly removed.  :y
