Hi all, hope you can help....
i bought a 96 2.5 TD omega estate the immobiliser is locked on... the little running man is flashing...  in position two the engine management light is flashing...the indicators are flashing...and so are the interior lights, and of course it wont go.
there is a relay ticking in the passenger foot well and occassionally the immob unit in the drivers footwell has a clicking session as well

if it has a transponder chip key then it cant be bypassed

instead you will have to get on a Tech2 and have it reconfiged

older omegas maybe able to be bypassed but i wont discuss it but google it i dont know if yours being 96 has the newer setup on it
