Battery change
« on: 19 May 2009, 08:36:04 »

Got to replace the battery this week as it won't hold a charge for long these days.

I remember reading somewhere that you need to disconnect the battery in a certain amount of time after ignition is switched off, or something like that.

Can someone confirm please?

Loosen the terminals, switch the ignition on then off.

You now have about 20 secs to disconnect the battery, without setting the alarm off.
