Noisy heater FAN
« on: 30 May 2009, 07:18:19 »

Serek is looking at my 2001 FL (192300 miles) which has a noisy fan. It sounds like the old cardboard and peg job that we used to do to our bike wheels. When you vary the fan speed it can vary the noise, heat & A/C still work OK. Question is: Is the Heater Fan unit on a FL the as a Pre-FL? He going to the scrappy today (Saturday and will take the old unit with him, but any help/advice would be appreciated. TIA  :y

Hello,

Well it sounds as if there's a leaf that found its way somewhere, probably behind the vents. They come off quite easily, so I would start here.
