Lots of warning lights
« on: 01 June 2009, 08:56:42 »

On the way to work today loads of warning lights came on

ABS, TC, EML, Charging, Airbag, and one other.

Rev counter & Speedo both read 0, gearbox went into top and stopped changing.

All fuses look OK, power steering still worked, CC fan was intermittant.

Cleared by turning off and on, leaving off for a minute or so.

Possibly - came on at highish revs.

What is the fix for this?

If, after measuring, its going above about 14.8v when at 2000rpm, you need to repair the regulator on the alternator

I'd say it's charge related... Used to happen all the time on my Cavalier ::) ::) ::)

Is there an FAQ for this?

Don't think there is. Hard to tell until Jimbob has done an index for the Maintenence Guides section, and that won't be for at least another week.

Agreeed, a few things to check :y

So, Martin Imber, you need to get a meter out before going further!

No, not the 2.6 and 3.2

It will be either a voltage high or low warning......do a pedal test to see what the engine ECU is flagging up.

Well 1500 is an O2 sensor fault(Bank 2 mixture control sensor)

0320 is not a recognised code so may be a miss count, I would be expecting an 0560 for a voltage issue

I keep getting 0320.

As to 1500, is it Lambda / wiring or could it be an after effect?
